I am a qualified psychotherapist registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I work with Adults, Young People, Couples and Groups, I also offer clinical supervision.
Sometimes life can be hard and it can be difficult to know where to turn for help. Taking the first step and reaching out to a therapist can seem extremely daunting but with the right help there comes the opportunity for improved wellbeing in your life.
I offer a professional and confidential counselling/psychotherapy service where we can look at the difficulties you are experiencing in a safe and holding environment.
Our work together will always reflect your individual needs. By exploring your life together, you can share your concerns and gain insights into issues that may have arisen from the past or present, and together we can look at ways that may improve your wellbeing, within the support of an ongoing therapeutic relationship.
I see individuals and couples at my private practice in Bricket Wood with parking available, or alternatively I offer sessions over zoom and other online platforms.
If you would like to make an appointment or you would like a zoom consultation please call me on 07498 921 714 or email mandy.williams@email.com
I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and am committed to working within these ethical boundaries. You can find out more about the BACP by visiting their website www.bacp.co.uk.
Sessions
I offer an optional free zoom consultation where we can discuss working together, I can tell you what you can expect from me and answer any questions you may have. If you decide you would like to enter counselling with me then we can arrange a suitable time of the week to meet. Our first session would involve an assessment where we discuss your life to gain a better picture of your experiences and what has brought you to counselling. We can discuss the focus of our sessions and the number of sessions you may require.
I have vast experience or working with individuals effected by sexual violence, current and historic past experiences which can feel impossible to process. If you have been effected by sexual violence, you may never have spoken about this to anyone, and the idea of doing so can feel impossible; I aim to provide you with an environment which feels safe and secure in which you can take therapy at your own pace where I will remain alongside you in your journey to a better quality of life, whatever that may look like for you.
