I believe we are all given a choice and it is so important to find and work towards a purpose in our lives. Life is not without difficult challenges and hard times for anyone. My desire is to offer support, guidance and help to facilitate you in finding perspective when faced with uncertainty, hurt and struggle - no matter what form it may take.
I am a fully registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and committed to working ethically. www.bacp.co.uk
Counselling Sessions
I offer a complimentary 15 minute telephone consultation to enable you to see if we are well suited to work together. This can be arranged at an agreed time, or if you wish to leave me a voice message I can return your call. During our next session, we will go through an assessment to help us identify areas you would like to address, as well as discussing the expectations you may have of counselling. Doing reviews throughout our work we can monitor changes and work towards an ending at your pace, where we will review what the starting point was and what you want for your next steps.
Short term and Long term work
I offer both short and long term work. I have however found that committing to at least 6-10 sessions has more impact. Counselling provides a safe neutral space for ongoing support during a particularly difficult time, increases self-awareness and have a positive impact on the relationship you have with yourself and others.
Cost
50-minute sessions in person or online £45
(fees will be reviewed at the beginning of each year).
